It’s hard to put 45 years of impact into one post.

After an incredible 45 years at Central Valley Medical Center, Gay Aagard is preparing for a well-deserved retirement.

For decades, Gay has been a familiar face, a trusted coworker, and part of the heart of this organization. Her dedication to caring for others (especially her Coumadin Clinic patients) and serving this community has left a legacy that simply can’t be measured.

We will be celebrating her next week, June 4th from 1-2 pm, at CVMC downstairs in Education Room B.

Thank you, Gay, for 45 amazing years of service, heart, and commitment to CVMC and the people we serve.

Care that knows how to listen. 💙

It’s something patients say about Dr. Jones again and again. With more than 18 years of experience and a true love for OB care, he takes the time to really hear you, understand what you’re feeling, and guide you through each step with confidence.

Care that knows when to listen.

Because no two stories are the same.

Whether it’s women’s health, mental health, or everyday care, the most important part of what we do starts with understanding you.

This month, we’re focusing on listening a little closer. Sometimes what matters most isn't what's said first. It's what's heard when someone takes the time to listen.

You’re not “too young” anymore. Dr. Beck talks about how Colonoscopies are saving lives.

💙 Colon cancer is showing up earlier than ever
💙 Colonoscopies catch polyps before they become cancer
💙 Removing them = preventing cancer before it starts

It’s not just a screening. It’s protection for your future.

Meet Cammi Whitaker, our Women & Infant Services Manager!

Inspired to pursue nursing at just 16 years old, Cammi Whitaker’s passion for compassionate, hands-on care began early and has guided her entire career. She started in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2006 and later returned to the field in 2013, building experience across multiple roles including Emergency Room Technician, Nurse Apprentice, and Labor & Delivery Nurse.

Cammi earned her nursing degree in 2020 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2023, and has spent nearly six years caring for women and families during some of life’s most meaningful moments.

Now serving as our Women and Infant Services Manager, Cammi is focused on supporting nurses through evidence-based practice, continued education, and thoughtful growth of the unit. She is proud to be part of the team at Central Valley Medical Center and grateful for the trust our community places in us as families begin their journey into motherhood.
