There really aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for the love and support that has surrounded us during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

To every friend, family member, and follower who has checked in, sent a message, offered a listening ear, brought or sent food and household necessities, helped financially, donated through the GoFundMe, or simply reminded us that we aren’t walking through this alone — thank you.

Every act of kindness, big or small, has meant more than you probably realize. Sometimes it has been a meal we didn’t have to think about, something for the house that took one thing off our plate, a donation that helped ease some of the financial stress, or simply a message that came at exactly the right moment.

We also know that not everyone is in a position to give financially, and we never want anyone to feel like they have to. Sharing the GoFundMe, keeping it circulating, sending kind words, and continuing to keep our family in your thoughts are meaningful ways of supporting us too. ❤️

🌈🐾 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 🐾🌈

Today we remember the pets who may no longer walk beside us, but whose paw prints will forever remain on our hearts. ❤️

For me, today includes remembering Lelie and Ruger—two very different souls, from different chapters of my life, who gave me memories and love that I’ll always carry with me. 🌈

One of the hardest parts of loving an animal is knowing that our time with them will never feel long enough. But I believe the bond we share doesn’t simply disappear when they leave us. The love, lessons, memories, and little pieces of them stay with us.

Today, I want to remember your special ones too. 🐾

Those of you that know me personally know I'm not one to ask for help.

We appreciate all of the donations we have received already during this time whether it was monetary, food or household goods. We appreciate the continued love and support.

Losing our mom so suddenly has been heartbreaking, and now our dad is facing financial uncertainty while trying to heal.

They dedicated their lives to giving us all love, support, and a sense of belonging, and now we want to honor her memory by helping him through this difficult time.

This fundraiser is just getting started, and sharing helps so much in the early days.

🐾💙 Let’s give some love to our local rescues! 💙🐾

For National Dog Day, I want to give a special shoutout to two organizations in our community doing incredible work for dogs who need a second chance — Pattie’s Waggin’ Tails Senior Sanctuary and Rescue Pets Serving Vets. ❤️

I’ve also been lucky enough to meet some pretty special boys through them!

🐾 Zeus from Pattie’s — a sweet boy I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with and supporting.

🐾 Cash from Rescue Pets Serving Vets — another handsome rescue boy whose smile says it all. ❤️

Organizations like these rely on people in the community to adopt, foster, volunteer, donate, share their posts and simply help get their names out there. Sometimes one share is all it takes to connect a dog with the person they’ve been waiting for.

Today we celebrate the dogs who make our lives better simply by being in them.

They’re our companions, our protectors, our comedians, our comfort on the hard days, and sometimes the reminder we need to slow down and just enjoy the moment. Their love asks for so little and gives us so much in return. 🐾

Kenzie and Ares bring two very different personalities into our lives, but both fill our home — and Great Dane Healing — with more love, laughter, and energy than we could ever measure. 💜

And today, I’m also remembering the pups who are no longer physically beside us but will always have a paw print on our hearts. 🌈🐾

This year, I’ll be joining my family for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, and for me, every step will be especially in honor of my Pap Brown. 💜

Through Great Dane Healing, I want to give our friends, followers, clients and community a way to have someone they love walk with us, too.

For a suggested $5 donation, you can honor or remember someone affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia.

💜 Their name will be added to a special shirt I’ll wear during the walk.
🐾 We’ll create a purple paw in their honor and share it on our social media.
📸 Send us a favorite photo of your loved one if you'd like it included in their tribute.
💜 All donations will support our Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraiser.
