Registration is now open for the 2026 DCCCA Youth Leadership Workshops! We are thrilled to invite middle and high school students from across Kansas to join us for an engaging day of learning, leadership, and action. This year's theme, "Lead Now, Not Later," is built on a powerful message: young people do not have to wait until adulthood to make a difference. Leadership starts today, and every student can create positive change in their school and community. At these dynamic regional workshops, students will build practical leadership skills, explore prevention strategies, and develop real-world action plans they can take back home. This is more than a workshop. It is an opportunity for youth to discover their voice, strengthen their confidence, and become catalysts for change. What Participants Will Experience
✅ Learn essential leadership principles and skills
✅ Explore the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF)
✅ Examine local data and identify community challenges
✅ Work alongside peers to create meaningful Action Plans
✅ Hear from nationally recognized speaker John Calvert, who inspires students to build positive relationships and safer school communities
✅ Participate in a discussion of Screenagers Under the Influence, an impactful documentary examining substance use and its effects on youth.
