Does CFT actually stick?
I saw her 4 weeks ago. Chest caved in, head forward, the whole āholding it all together, bracing posture.
This was her yesterday before I laid hands on her. So Iād say āhell yes, it sticks!ā
Iāve been doing bodywork for 8 years, and I donāt throw this around lightly but Iāve never seen something hold like this.
From my own comprehension, itās not because Iām doing more. Itās actually because Iām doing less.
CFT isnāt something Iām doing to your body. Itās something your body is doing from within, which is how I believe healing happens.
Everything I feel shift under my hands? Every movement? Thatās you. Not me. All Iām doing is giving you a safe space to do so.
And thatās why it sticks: safety.
And tbh this is s**tty for business if Iām looking for repeat clients š
Iāve told many clients that I donāt want to see them. Thatās my goal. Not because Iām a bitch (well, maybe?), but because healing is meant to happen in seasons.
I want to be in that season with you, support you while things are shifting, and then BAM send you in your way to go live this big, incredible life.
Like actually live it. Not constantly trying to fix yourself.
And if you come back, itās because you want to and not because your body canāt figure it out without me.
CFT is a life-giverāan internal wisdom that shows up as better posture, easier breathing, less jaw/shoulder tension, a calmer gut, and not losing your s**t when your kid asks you 100 questions before 9am.
Less bloating, fewer headaches, not so wired and exhausted all the time. The list goes on.
Ultimately, you just feel more like yourself again.
New to CFT? Welcome to this side of the internet š«¶š»
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) is a gentle, hands-on approach developed by Dr. Barry Gillespie that works with the fascia and craniosacral system to support your nervous system, brain, and body as a whole.
People often come in for headaches, TMJ, chronic pain, digestive issues, anxiety, poor sleep, brain fog, or lingering concussion symptoms. But what weāre really supporting is the nervous system beneath it all.
