I have completely fallen in love with salt booth therapy (versus salt room/cave) and the unbelievable benefits that the 10-minute salt session provides.

We are all about non-invasive therapy methods that actually WORK and don’t take up a large block of your time. All our options for support can have you in and out in 15 minutes while feeling completely recharged!

What a surprise and an honor to be featured by SCORE NH & VT.

When people see Salt & Soul today, they see a wellness studio. What they don’t always see are the years of learning, setbacks, second-guessing, growth, and the incredible people who showed up along the way to help me keep moving forward.

Starting a business can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re building something that’s deeply personal and rooted in your heart. SCORE was one of the many resources that helped me navigate the unknown, ask better questions, and gain confidence in the decisions ahead. I’m incredibly grateful for the guidance, encouragement, and generosity of the mentors who freely share their knowledge with small business owners like me.

Most of all, thank you to every person who has walked through the doors of Salt & Soul, shared a post, told a friend, booked a session, attended an event, or simply believed in what we’re building here in New Boston.

This story belongs to all of us.

Some days I still walk into the shop and can’t believe this is real.

Today can hold so many different emotions all at once.

For some, Mother’s Day is joy and celebration.
For others, it’s grief, longing, exhaustion, resentment, emptiness, healing… or simply survival.

Today, we honor the mothers carrying more than anyone sees.
The fathers doing double duty with tender hearts and tired hands.
The grandparents raising children.
The women longing to become mothers.
The souls navigating infertility, loss, estrangement, or complicated relationships.
The caregivers, nurturers, protectors, and quiet supporters who show up day after day for the people they love.

The truth is… nurturing energy is sacred. It changes lives.
Sometimes one loving, steady soul can help carry someone through unimaginable pain and loss.

So wherever this day finds you, please know there is space for all of it here.

Excited to publicly share this incredible discovery! Our owner, Carrie Goodwin is a direct descendent of the Atwood family, original owners of what is now known as “Dodge's Store”. Check out her story!

The new space that Carrie Goodwin moved into was more than just serendipity. It was fate. When Carys and I popped in to visit Salt & Soul NH in New Boston's longstanding "Dodge's" building last week, Carrie Goodwin shared that her maiden name was Smith, a direct descendant of Charlotte & Lawson Smith, Rusty & Sherry Smith’s daughter.

What Carrie didn't know is that the Atwoods - according to her Mom - were her great-grandparents! Mom showed up with a book that details the Atwood involvement in the small town. The Atwood-Dodge presence and story goes way back.
