If you’ve been meaning to stop by Cosmic Plant Company, let this be your sign. 🌿🌵🪴

I stopped in today and left with way more plants than I planned (zero regrets 😂), but also such an appreciation for the sweetest people behind this little shop. You can truly feel how much heart they’ve poured into it!!

Go wander around, grab a plant, and show them some love. These are the kinds of local places and people that make our community so special. 🤍

This one is spicy! Try this total-body variation during your next workout. It challenges your core, legs, glutes, and shoulders all at once!!

Comment 🌶️ if you want to see more workout ideas??!!

Also huge shoutout to Frog Hollar Outdoor. Dr. Spencer Noble loves this brand of joggers and polo. So light comfortable!!

WELCOME TO PART 2 OF OUR HIP PAIN SLEEP SERIES! 😴🛌

Part 1 was for our side sleepers…
Today, we’re talking to our back sleepers! 👋

If you’re sleeping on your back with hip pain, try this setup:

👉 Keep the painful hip comfortable and supported.

👉 Place a small pillow or rolled-up towel underneath your low back.
This helps support the natural curve of your spine rather than letting your low back completely flatten into the mattress.

👉 Keep your legs in a comfortable, neutral position.
We’re not trying to force your legs completely straight or pull your knees way up toward your chest. Think comfortable + supported.

And here’s an important distinction:

Pillow under the knees?

That’s something we might recommend for low back pain, but it isn’t necessarily our go-to for hip pain.

Why?

Because there’s no one-size-fits-all “perfect” sleeping position.

At Revive, we’re constantly looking at how your symptoms behave and how different positions affect YOU.

Your sleeping position should help you feel comfortable while your body is healing, not create another thing you have to obsess over. 😂

So if you’re a back sleeper with hip pain, try supporting that natural low-back curve and see how your symptoms respond.

Part 1: Side sleepers ✅
Part 2: Back sleepers ✅

Now go get some dreamy sleep. 😴✨

And if you’re wondering what to do if you have low back pain instead…stay tuned. 👀

Hey Revive Fam! Dr. Jake Bluebird here.

Excited to officially complete my McKenzie part D course!🎓
This course has been an huge step in further developing my clinical reasoning and understanding of the spine and extremities.

I’m excited to move forward with a more complete understanding of how symptoms present, what they mean, and how I can use that information to better guide my patients through their recovery.

Ultimately, it’s about looking beyond simply treating a symptom and developing a better understanding of why the patient is experiencing them in the first place (root cause).

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue learning and growing as a clinician, and most importantly, to take what I’ve learned and use it to provide better, more individualized care for our patients!
Part D complete - now it’s time to put it into practice!

I always come back from continuing ed courses reinvigorated, ready to conquer the world. This is especially true of my yearly MDT course. This year had a couple of extra features. To start Salt Lake City, Utah is stunning. The course was hosted in a valley surrounded by gorgeous mountains that I found my self constantly taking pictures of. THEN the first morning I get there early to sight see a little before class. As I am turning the corner to get inside, I see the guy that gave me a chance back in the beginning of my career. I was young and no where near the clinician I am today so I am forever grateful that he believed enough in me to give me a chance and arm me with the tools I rely on today. There have been many amazing moments along my career and educational journey and this one will sit at the top for a while.

Thank you for trusting us we promise we always strive to bring the best care to you guys!

Kinda odd 👀 😉

We’re not here to give you a giant list of exercises and hope one of them works.

We’re not here to make you dependent on us.

And we definitely don’t think an MRI tells the whole story.

We want to know:

What makes your pain better?
What makes it worse?
What happens when you move a certain way?
And most importantly…what can YOU do about it?

Because we believe you should leave our clinic with more than just a treatment plan.

You should leave understanding your body and knowing what to do when your symptoms change.

The goal isn’t to keep you coming back forever.

The goal is to make you confident enough that you don’t need us forever (even when we’re really sad to see you go!)

So yeah…

kinda odd.

But we think it’s a pretty great way to do PT and why we do what we do!

We hope to change the way PT works, one case at a time 🫡
