WELCOME TO PART 2 OF OUR HIP PAIN SLEEP SERIES! 😴🛌
Part 1 was for our side sleepers…
Today, we’re talking to our back sleepers! 👋
If you’re sleeping on your back with hip pain, try this setup:
👉 Keep the painful hip comfortable and supported.
👉 Place a small pillow or rolled-up towel underneath your low back.
This helps support the natural curve of your spine rather than letting your low back completely flatten into the mattress.
👉 Keep your legs in a comfortable, neutral position.
We’re not trying to force your legs completely straight or pull your knees way up toward your chest. Think comfortable + supported.
And here’s an important distinction:
Pillow under the knees?
That’s something we might recommend for low back pain, but it isn’t necessarily our go-to for hip pain.
Why?
Because there’s no one-size-fits-all “perfect” sleeping position.
At Revive, we’re constantly looking at how your symptoms behave and how different positions affect YOU.
Your sleeping position should help you feel comfortable while your body is healing, not create another thing you have to obsess over. 😂
So if you’re a back sleeper with hip pain, try supporting that natural low-back curve and see how your symptoms respond.

Part 2: Back sleepers ✅
Now go get some dreamy sleep. 😴✨
And if you’re wondering what to do if you have low back pain instead…stay tuned. 👀
