Itโs September! I hope your autumn remedies are well underwayโcold and flu season is already lurking! ๐๐คง
For years we have made fresh Fire C***r throughout the autumn and winter months to help support our immune systems, warm the body, and keep those seasonal wellness routines going strong. You probably also know how quickly it sells out! ๐
This year, we started earlier, and prepared more batches in hopes of better meeting the demand. ๐ค
We will share our tried-and-true Fire C***r recipe on our website, just as we have for several years; ๐ซ๐ฅalthough, a tweak or two may have been implemented from our first rendition more than a decade ago.
We do add variations from time to timeโour latest batch includes astragalus, hibiscus, and elderberriesโbut the base recipe is a wonderful place to start.
When it comes to herbal preparations, potency mattersโbut more is not necessarily better. The key is using the right amount of nourishing, purposeful ingredients to create a remedy that is both balanced and beneficial. ๐ฑโจ
We prepare our Fire C***r on the hearty side, with plenty of roots, peppers, fruits, and vegetables. A good rule of thumb is to fill your jar about 3/4 fullโand admittedly, I tend to fill mine just a dash fuller. ๐๐ซIf you know me, thatโs how I roll!
Too often, recipes call for only a small handful of roots and peppers floating in a large amount of apple c***r vinegar. While there is certainly more than one way to make Fire C***r, we believe it should include an ample, thoughtful blend of herbs, roots, fruits, and vegetables. ๐ง๐ถ๏ธ๐๐ง
Your end product should be a true, mindful warming tonicโone that functions as such, not simply a jar full of Apple C***r Vinegar. ๐๐
May your remedies be nourishing, your pantry stocked, and your season well-supported. ๐๐ซ
