Todays meeting was awesome! It was interesting to learn what general public perceptions can be when they encounter people living with limb loss. The group provided personal insight on how they have dealt with public encounters and questions they have been asked.

The topic of the meeting is "The public perception of individuals with limb loss" presented by Travis Ritchie, BS, MSPO.

We are proud to announce that our son, Travis Ritchie, MSPO, has completed his Master's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics and started his residency here at Ritchie Limb and Brace, LLC. Travis graduated with a 4.0 GPA, demonstrating hard work and dedication to his craft in O&P, and will continue the family legacy here at RLB. Big thanks to his wonderful wife, Katie, and their daughters for the support they gave him during the last 18 months he spent at Alabama State University's P and O program. We are all so glad to have him back in Texas. Please join me in congratulating Travis for his commitment to excellence and eternal desire to improve the lives of our patients. We are so proud of our son.

Proud Dad!! Travis presented his research project at the Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics today. It was awesome and the research questions current dogma on O&P. Good job son. I can't wait till you're back at RL&B helping us grow!!
