Did you know eczema isn’t just one condition?

There are several different types of eczema, each with its own common triggers, symptoms, and patterns:

Atopic Dermatitis • Allergic Contact Dermatitis • Neurodermatitis • Chronic Hand Eczema • Stasis Dermatitis • Dyshidrotic Eczema • Nummular Eczema

So, what exactly is eczema? 🤔

Eczema is the term for a group of conditions, but amongst the most common type is called "Atopic Dermatitis". In general, eczematous conditions create dry, inflamed, and itchy skin. For many patients, symptoms are chronic, meaning they may improve for a while and then flare again.

Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the second most common type of skin cancer, but it doesn’t always present the same way on the skin.

From scaly patches and wart-like growths to non-healing sores, SCC can take on many different appearances. Some lesions may grow quickly, bleed, or become tender, while others can be otherwise symptom-free.

Early detection is key! If you notice a new, changing, or non-healing spot, it's time to see your dermatologist!
