💥With a growing number of online retailers offering peptides, how do YOU know your peptides or wellness products are actually what they claim to be?
One of the most important things you can ask for is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)—but not all COAs are created equal.
Here are 4 things to look for before you trust any product:
✅ 1. Who performed the testing?
A trustworthy COA should come from an independent, third-party laboratory, not simply be created by the company selling the product. Look for the lab’s name and contact information.
✅ 2. Does it match your batch?
The lot or batch number on the COA should match the product you’re holding. A generic COA doesn’t prove your specific vial was tested.
✅ 3. Does it verify identity AND purity?
High purity alone isn’t enough. The testing should confirm the product is actually the correct compound in addition to showing its purity.
✅ 4. Check the testing date.
A COA should reflect recent testing that corresponds to your product’s batch. Old test results may not accurately represent what you’re receiving today.
