Dr. Lano is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, which serves the specialty of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery. He is also certified as a Diplomate, American Board of Otolaryngology in Sleep Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He is

a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Dr. Lano completed residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. There he completed two years of general surgery training followed by four years of otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. Dr. Lano completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas in Austin.
