Auglaize Industries is NOW HIRING full and part-time positions!
Auglaize Industries is a work training, vocational placement, and community integration program for adults with disabilities. This long-established program of nearly 40 years is looking for work candidates who will enjoy the reward of assisting adults with disabilities to become more involved in their communities while earning fair wages and participating in social events.
Our full-time positions perform transportation assignments as well as workshop supervision and assistance with social outings M-F from 8 until 4, with some assignments outside of these hours. A normal weekly work schedule is about 35 to 40 hours per week. These FT positions also come with a full benefits package that includes major medical and hospitalization, pharmaceutical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, 401k, and monthly profit sharing. Your benefits package is largely company-paid.
Although we have a great benefits package for our FT staff, your greatest reward is the satisfaction of assisting adults with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence and to grow in their relationships and self-confidence!
Our part-time staff will have the flexibility to set their own schedules between 15 and 30 hours per week. Assignments will include transportation routes to and from the workshop training facility as well as to and from community work sites. There will also be opportunities to provide substitute supervision in our work training and adult day programming facility. All driving positions will require a valid Ohio driver's license with fewer than 6 points as well as the ability to pass a DOT-level physical. Candidates with CPR and first-aid certification are preferred, but we can provide this training following a brief orientation period. All training and physical requirements are company-paid. Both FT and PT positions will be rewarded with a competitive starting wage.
