It’s funny how things work out, last summer I reached out to an old friend to see about donating furniture to shelter she worked at… she wasn’t working there anymore but said she wanted to reach out to get a tattoo from me but was having cold feet about it since it had been years since we talked.
She told me she found an amazing guy and was going to be getting married and they wanted to get matching tattoos…they chose the heron for what it’s symbolic for; the ability to remain still and focused to achieve goals, navigate challenges with grace, and draw on inner strength
They also invited me to their wedding which i went solo and had the absolute best time talking with new people and of course spent hours on the dance floor 💃
