🚬 Cigarette Smoke vs. 🌲 Wildfire Smoke

1 cigarette: About 10–15 minutes of smoking.

Wildfire smoke: A full day of breathing unhealthy air can expose your lungs to fine particle pollution similar to smoking several cigarettes—sometimes even a pack or more during severe smoke events.

Different source. Similar damage to your lungs and heart.

If the AQI is unhealthy, stay indoors, use a HEPA filter if possible, and wear an N95 mask when outside. Your lungs will thank you.
