The girls spent the first month outside in a larger version of this pen, then in the coop At night. I fed them organic layer mash and now I can harvest Oats, Flax, Wild Radish and Sugar snap peas 😂. We'll see what becomes of the corn that grew. But happily, no soy or wheat 🤗. Fertile soil and my own wood chips processed here.

The Fourth Sunflower Garden bloomed today. All seeds planted this year, came from last year's harvest of Sunflower heads. I saved so much money! I always love watching pollen collections on bees legs as they Forage through the middle. Lovely color petals too. Dried Sunflower heads $5 each. Heirloom variety from 4th generation. Reserve yours now or pick up at the Grow your own Garlic event next month.

Beautiful and fragrant! Not just for Beer making. Helps with Sleep, relaxation, RLS. All you need is half of a Hops flower in hot/ cold water or chew straight up. It's a wonderful herb
