It’s always a blessing and gift to have Sherry and Synergy come to our little community bringing joy, laughter, clarity and compassion.

One of the most helpful and effective tools I’ve learned over the years in working to support people and spaces in the holistic and spiritual healing arts, as an energy healer and contemporary Shamanic practitioner.

I’ve been doing space clearings and blessings since 2008, and have been honored to support many wonderful people, families, places and pets. I’ve worked in homes, businesses, in small communities, apartments, historic buildings, and estates with names on their gates.

Doing this type of work requires way more in depth training and practice than drawing Reiki symbols in the air(and I absolutely love Reiki, and have been practicing it for 28 years), waving around a “smudge” stick, talking to a “ghost” or playing a drum or singing bowl, though the proper application of these items can certainly help create more uplifting energy.

People and places are complex, there are many different types of energies, entities, and histories involved in supporting proper cleansing, healing and transmuting of discordant energies and creating or restoring harmony and balance.

I am honored to continue to share what I’ve learned with my students in the Holistic Shamanic practitioner program that I offer. It takes way more than a weekend workshop to do this type of work safely and effectively, and requires a calling and dedication. Especially for Western practitioners as there is also much we need to unlearn, and to consider to practice with groundedness, compassion and integrity, and not appropriation.

But in the end all worth it, when children and pets can sleep in their rooms again, that dark cloud 🌧️ has lifted, and people feel more at home and at ease in their own bodies, homes and work places. 🤗❤️🙏🏻

Wow. There’s some interesting hypotheses circulating social media in the spiritual wellness spaces that Reiki and singing bowls have been infiltrated by nefarious forces. 🙄

Reiki is a researched and well known holistic modality that has been used widely across the globe in hospitals, wellness centers, schools, veterinary clinics and more. It’s one of the gentlest forms of healing that supports both holistic and conventional medicine. It is very helpful for pain, stress and anxiety relief, not to mention recovery from illness and injury..

Singing bowls are ancient instruments of sound healing, that can offer stress, relief, support, meditation, and balance various energies in the body and Energy field when played properly and by a skilled practitioner. There is little to no danger when working with singing bowls, other than someone taking one and cracking you over the head with it. Can’t say I’ve ever heard of that happening.

Of course, any person or object can absorb, attract or have negative, discordant and malevolent energies are entities attached to them.

Folks promoting this type of misdirection and fear mongering should really direct their energy and focus onto actual problematic and evil forces causing profound harm on a daily basis, particularly here in the US.

💥Citizens, immigrants and migrants getting sh*t by federal law enforcement
💥G¥n violence in schools 🏫
💥Women losing rights to their bodily autonomy

💥Targeting the trans 🏳️‍⚧️ community for no reason
💥Ongoing G sides of Blck and indigenous people
💥Ignoring climate change and allowing more forever chemicals
💥Enabling wars and 💣 children

We need to really start using more discernment and vetting the information we’re getting from so-called holistic and spiritual wellness “experts”.

Look in your communities for people with good reputations, solid credentials, who are doing their work with integrity, not trying to make a name for themselves with crazy misinformation on social media.

There’s a pattern that’s been emerging in the spiritual and holistic communities, with various visible teachers, and influencers completely changing course from their original modalities, falling off the pedestal, like Deepak, 😬or even passing away and leaving the Earth plane altogether.😳😞

Communities that have been followers of these folks are having various reactions, such as feeling abandoned, let down , disillusioned, etc. All understandable.

What I feel that this is calling us to, though, is to empower ourselves and build our own spiritual connections to the Divine; however, it is helpful to have strong, frameworks, and from my personal perspective, rooted in ancestral and indigenous wisdom practiced with reverence, humility, and respect.

Some folks will still resonate more with organized religion, and if that really calls to them, then that is fine too

I received a message several years ago when having to move away from one of my own teachers, who went down a completely different path that I could not follow. And the message I got was, and it pretty much sounded like it was in all caps, was “NO MORE INTERMEDIARIES!!”

Now I still believe that having teachers and guides can be helpful, but not when we rely on them 24 seven, or give our power and sovereignty away.

And this is something that I have tried as a Shamanic practitioner and teacher, Energy Healer, and educator to do with my own students and clients, support them in connecting with their own guides, angels and ancestors, and deepening their connection to nature, building their confidence in their spiritual and healing gifts and the way that works for them. Frameworks and practices with roots and a foundation can be helpful when shared with permission and respect, and with someone who has had their own dedicated practice for at least a decade, if not more.
