Not every injury needs surgery first. Many orthopedic conditions improve with the right physical therapy, strength/mobility training, and a personalized treatment plan. Exercise, in some form or fashion, is beneficial to nearly every condition out there 💪🏽

If a medical provider has told you to completely stop exercising in all forms, and doesn’t provide you any options or modifications — that needs to be your former provider‼️

Physical Therapists are experts at modifying physical activity and exercise to specifically fit your capabilities. Even if you’re having an injury, there are options available. Whether it’s fixing technique, offering lift variation, changing the equipment, or even shifting to a new activity such as swimming/cycling — you have options. Completely “stopping exercise” is lazy advice and here at Refresh we are at anything but lazy 🙅🏻‍♂️💁🏻‍♀️
