Gloria Steinem passed away yesterday at 92, and I keep returning to her reminder:
"Whenever one person stands up and says,
'Wait a minute, this is wrong,' it helps other people do the same." That's what she spent her life modeling - the courage to speak up, the patience to listen, and the belief that honesty can ripple outward into real change. Her passing doesn't dim that light; it invites us to carry it forward. She showed us that justice often begins with one person choosing to stand, and that solidarity grows every time someone else decides to stand beside them.
