There is less than a week left to get our LOAN fully funded through Kiva. It is currently being match 2X and every bit helps. This is a LOAN and is repaid monthly over the next 36 months. If you have loaned to us through Kiva before you probably have our loa repayment in your account. If you are unable to loan please share. Their algorithm is boosted by shares in addition to loans. When you go to make a loan, please be assured you do not have to make the 20% donation to them. That has been turning a lot of folks away. Simply click the pen icon next to the amount they're attempting to add to your loan and you are able to change it to as low as zero.

Our new address will be 627 Cherokee, Ste 106. We are still finishing the week at 5207, but beginning Monday we will be at our new location. You can still lock your bike on our fence. We are a short walk from the streetcar stop on St.Charles Ave. i am looking forward to a swim in our pool. Looking forward to seeing you.

Some pictures of our new space at 627 Cherokee. This is marking a move to simplify and create a better work life balance. While also moving into a building that has better upkeep than the one we have been in. Really grateful for this. We will be close to Audubon Park, and look there is a pool! 💜💜💜🦆🐠

Luckily a neighbor was out with some shovels and salt when I got to the studio yesterday. So we got our stretch of Magazine sidewalk taken care of. I will go put some sand down this morning. If you have an appointment please be careful and walk slowly. We are open today, but already booked.

PSA: if you have never patronized my business please do not call or email me about donating a gift card for your organization. Small businesses all over NOLA are hurting. I will contact you if I can donate. Right now, all I can/would give are my books and even those I keep for groups that rescue animals and musicians, sometimes both together! When I was much younger I gave so freely and offered so many discounts and "pay what you can" that I was often living in poverty or hand to mouth. I was really good with a budget and cost of living was cheaper then so it may not have appeared that way from the outside. I have entered my forties and that life is not sustainable . All of this to say, I love you--I do, but if I dont really kbow you and you have never been to my business (or it's been more than a year--or five) please stop asking for donations. These type of emails and phone calls are so plentiful and so weird. Thank you. By the way NOLA Massage does have availability this week. Roxanne is open today and tomorrow. I have a couple left Thursday and Sunday. LOVE.

We have some new artwork in the studio. Our friend Benjamin Hubbell came and hung some pieces and has shifted the energy for the fall. We love it. We are planning a pop up during Art for Art’s Sake on Saturday October 5 from 4pm-9pm. Our friends from .weld will be joining us. As well as . We will have some signed books for sale from Shannon Kelly Atwater and also . There will also be baked goods and lemonade. Come join us. Also, book your appointment this week. We still have plenty of openings available. Remember to use your HSA or FHA cards.
