Happy 4th of July! Today is known as 🇺🇸America's peak beer-drinking holiday. It's also a day where lots of kids go outside and enjoy the land of the free! All of which points to how important it is to STAY HYDRATED. 💦 Full grown adults should be drinking around half their body weight in ounces of water everyday. We want everyone to have fun and stay safe!

If you get too hot, go inside and drink some water. If your vision is getting blurry and you're having brain fog, go inside and drink some water. If your best friend has been doing shots since 12 pm and it's 5 pm, go inside and drink some water. Have Safe Fun!

UV Hyper-exposure is not something you'll notice at first. There are more detrimental long term effects than short term. It is important that you wear sunscreen in order to protect yourself. An SPF of 30 plus is recommended for casual every usage and 50 or higher for everyday outdoor activity. Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide are the best ingredients within a sunscreen for those with sensitive skin.

The UV Index in New Orleans the past few days has been between 5-10 and no lower. Be mindful of the kids, elderly, and the chronically ill.
