Our pediatric team is growing! 💙

Journey Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is looking for a children’s mental health counselor who loves working with kids and families.

We’re especially hoping to connect with someone who has afternoon availability to serve families when they often need us most.

Our new Pediatric & Family Center in Trinity was created to be a welcoming, comfortable space for kids, and we’d love to find the right person to join us.

Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is admit that today is hard.

Sit for a minute.
Cry if you need to.
Breathe.

You don’t have to figure everything out from the bathroom floor.

But when you’re ready, ask yourself: What do I know is right for me from here?

Choose that direction.
Then get up. 💙

Hard moments are allowed, but they don’t have to decide where you go next.

Sometimes the most important part of an appointment isn’t the diagnosis…
It’s the exhale that comes after.

The moment a parent realizes there may actually be a reason behind what they’ve been seeing at home.

The big emotions.
The constant reminders.
The homework battles.
The “why can’t they just…?”

When you understand what’s underneath the behavior, you get to stop asking that question and start asking a better one:

What does my child need from me here? 💙

That shift can change a lot.

Sounds a little questionable when you put it that way. 😂

In reality, we help children, teens, and adults better understand how their brains work and build a treatment plan that’s tailored to them. That might include medication, therapy, coaching, or a combination of services because there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to ADHD or mental health.

We believe the best care happens when everything works together. 💙
