Harvested healing organic raw moringa from the mini food forest in the yard. Dehydrated and ground in the blender to use in so many ways! Beautiful to sprinkle on oatmeal or yogurt or add into smoothies. And easy to grow!🌿 And it's great fresh in salads!
Moringa oleifera is a fast-growing plant whose leaves, seeds, pods, flowers, and roots are used for food and traditional medicine.
It is highly nutritious and contains various bioactive compounds like antioxidants, flavonoids, polyphenols, vitamins, and minerals.
It contains significant amounts of vitamin A (from beta-carotene), vitamin C, vitamin B6, iron, riboflavin, magnesium, calcium, and potassium.
Dried leaf powder is often used instead of the fresh leaves as a supplement, and is even richer in these nutrients. Compared to other greens, it has relatively high levels of protein (including all essential amino acids), fiber, and antioxidants.
