Alright y'all, emails are caught up to—but I feel as though I owe a bit of transparency as to some updates

The last few months I did hire someone to take over my emails once a week, she takes care of the Wednesday stuff and I filter in when needed!

I was doing emails almost every day, then every other day, then it was every two days. Now we are at around twice a week, which I feel like is a good pace for me to be able to focus a bit more on the shop and buiding a stronger portfolio tattoo wise.

Email is the only way to get ahold of me with ease. I've had a few people upset that I haven't responded to their messages, but I have found I need to be more intentional with my time around friends and family.

Part of me attempting to be intentional is not checking my socials very much, if at all, during the evening when im off from tattooing. This includes the DM's, they're incredibly overwhelming for me—and while they may be convenient from a client perspective, I have more no call / no shows when booking through this form and they are insanely hard to keep track of when the appointment date arrives, if I am honest.

I know it isn't the most convenient, but I am hoping to tick a lot less people off this year by just being open about why I run things the way I do.

I'm forever grateful for all of you. I wouldn't have the career/shop/life I have without you guys, so I did feel like I owed some sorta transparency on what I am working towards as an artist.

Life, lately.

I don't post a ton of personal stuff on my professional Instagram, but I am thankful for all the hardship this year has presented--it led to something so much better.

If you told me a year ago I'd have a shop with some of my closest friends, I'd have laughed and said I was all good and had a place that was practically mine.

Fast forward to now and I can't imagine having missed out on this blessing. What a cool life im able to live and have thanks to my family and friends

What the devil meant for bad, God meant for good. Happy Monday. Love you guys.

I've been able to do a few stained glass pieces lately and I am so stoked about them.

Would love to fill my entire rest of January and start February with stained glass stuff, for a discount naturally. $150 little stained glass guys, around this size!

I've been doing this style for like 4 years, I'd love to make it more prominent on my page!

Some stuff ive done lately, but swipe and see the first tattoo I ever did on skin like 7 years ago. Gotta start somewhere, right?

Life is way different than it was 7 years ago, and while I am thankful for every shop ive worked in--lets be real, Paradox hasn't been like work at all.

Since april you all have watched the story unfold. From getting fired, to the private studio, to what we have accomplished as a collective--life is just simply better. The growth we've accomplished in such short time is crazy, the homies are always drawing and creating--it's like going to work but you just get to mess around with friends all day.

I didnt post this in August on my tattooing anniversary because let's be honest—there was a lot going on--but ive been taking the time in the morning to pray and think over this shop and all the individual pieces that are now together. I couldn't have imagined this a year ago, let alone 6 months ago when I thought I was gonna be stuck as a private studio (not my cup of tea)

In the last year everything has changed, and I couldn't be happier for it. We are going to continue to push to be the best shop on the Southside, but I think we are getting there. Thank you for the recommendations, reviews, trust, and just stopping by

Howdy!

Not sure how to start this, but it’s gonna be some word vomit and I need yall to share this to your story and homies if you can!

Update 1 is that—We’ve got a lot in store, including an artist guesting with us—seeing how they like us and if they wanna join *us* potentially. They’ll be announced soon, promise

Update numba 2, admire how cute this little stress ball guy is?! That’s part of the update. GRAND OPENING! It is the 27th! I have a few tables for vendors—it’s only a few tables, so if we have discussed you taking a table to show off your small business, please message me so I can get a rough count and create a group to message.

Number 3! I need a photographer, someone to take photos and be willing to exchange for tattoo work, most likely around $300-$500 range for maybe 2 hours of the event itself. I’ll also buy your lunch that day from the taco truck and make sure you’re well hydrated. If there’s interest, please send me their or your info, with links to your work!

4. We have a flash event October 11, so mark your calendars for that! We are still discussing price range of it, but I believe we are having a tiered flash sheet to pick from!

Last but not least, I am running a Tiny Tuesday deal on September 30–ALL DAY. 11 onward. A homie or two may jump on, but come hang for the day—same rules I’ve had the last 4 years, 2 for $100 and can’t be split. It’s palm sized, nothing stupid detailed either! These may be making an appearance soon, once I’ve ironed out my Tuesdays.

I’m looking to do more subjects, I’ll post them in the channel as they come, but I’d love to do some spooky stained glass stuff.

This is heavily discounted—so not a ton of adjustments can be made.
