MY BIO SUMMARY

My spiritual path has been long, officially spanning 5 decades (unofficially, more than that), & is quite eclectic with what some may view as a hodgepodge of unrelated themes. Even as a child, raised in a very Catholic household, I was a mystic with precognitive visions who attracted the extraordinary. When I learned of an esoteric school opening its doors in the early 1970’s, I i

mmediately enrolled. The Inner Vision School of Occult & Psychic Sciences, located in Manhattan, was a wonderful place to get the basics in various divination systems & all things metaphysical. The school also answered some questions for me about my own experiences. After a few years I moved on to deepen my studies at The Occult Guild with Rev. Charles House. We were a small, private group, meeting weekly for several years at the Ansonia Hotel in NYC. House was a student of the late but renowned spiritualist medium, Clifford Bias whose church had also been in the Ansonia. Under the direction of Charles House, we explored the greater meaning of the Hermetic Arts like tarot & astrology, of practices like meditation, chant, ceremonial magick, & ritual, & the timeless truth of the Hermetic Principles. Simultaneously, I studied Ancient Esoteric Philosophy at The New School & received my astrologer certification from the H Eugene Adams School of Astrology in Forest Hills, NY. At the New School I met Jon Mundy, PhD, who introduced me to A Course in Miracles & I became a lifelong student/teacher, going on to facilitate, for several years in the 1990’s, a weekly Course based peer support group for women at the Interfaith Center in Washingtonville, NY. I was also blessed to present workshops at an ACIM annual conference in Bethel, Maine for 5 years in a row, as well as directing a choir & co-producing a Sunday morning service with some beloved brothers & sisters whom I have held in my heart ever since as my core ACIM family. In the same period, my work with chant brought me to record “Lovecalls,” a little a cappella cassette of my original work which in turn brought me an invitation to record a CD, “Lullabies of the Soul,” with a delightful group of sister-souls in Hartford CT. Improvisational heart songs & the vibration of sound has long been a part of my soul’s healing journey. When I moved to Orange County in 1979, I did readings & offered small classes in my home - through the 1980’s - in tarot, astrology, meditation, chant, ritual & sacred ceremony, among other subjects. I had learned psychic/spiritual healing methods at Inner Vision, & made much use of those skills in my travels through pediatric cancer in the same decade, but had a big issue with empathic absorption. I longed to learn Usui Reiki, intuitively sensing that it would help with the empath problem. Back in those days, however, the fees to reach Reiki Master were way out of my financial reach, but I held fast to the vision that one day I would learn. In the late 90’s, I was invited to attend meditation & ritual with a local group of women. After one of the circles, the woman who led the group reached for my hand & said, “You have strong Reiki.” I told her I had never learned. She said I was a natural healer but was having empathic absorption issues that attunement to Reiki would fix. She was so very right. She offered to instruct & attune me & in exchange I assisted her with a personal project. My career as a Reiki Practitioner was soon launched. In early 2000, I became a Reiki Master/Teacher. Reiki did indeed clear my empathic absorption & is a precious gift beyond measure. I am also a writer & poet whose work has been published in various magazines & newsletters spanning back to 1977. More recently, I became a certified aromatherapist, a doTERRA certified essential oil specialist, as well as an essential oil educator at HigherVibeHealth. I have incorporated the use of essential oils into my Reiki practice, along with my standard crystals, solfeggio frequencies & tuning forks. There is really too much life to include all of it in this blurb, but these are some of the highlights on my spiritual road to here. Many Blessings! Thérèse Marie Quinn

SUPER NEW MOON IN 24 Gemini 03’
On June 14, 2026 at 10:54 PM EDT

“This is not a new moon for manifesting in the abstract.
This is a new moon for saying the specific thing you have been
circling." -- Nicole Henley, Soul Alchemist

Astrologer Penni Shelton calls this ‘The New Moon of Liberation.’ It invites us to free ourselves of what no longer serves our highest, best interest & evolution - like old ideas, outworn beliefs, stale viewpoints & crumbling mental constructs - so we can write a fresh, new story. We may not be able to foresee the ending of this emergent narrative, but we are already penning the opening paragraphs. It’s time to trust that subsequent chapters will unfold & clarify as we edit out what doesn’t flow or fit with NOW.
With Uranus swiftly approaching an exact conjunction to my natal Sun in Gemini, I am feeling this turn toward a new sunrise most acutely. What unfolded in the dark of night is quickly falling away and the glow of hope’s dawn is breaking over our horizon. Keep the faith, focus on the Light and, as always, Let Love Lead. 🌑♊️🌞♊️💫⚡️

'When the Story No Longer Fits'

There are moments in life when we realize we can no longer return to who we used to be. And strangely enough, these moments rarely arrive with certainty. More often, they arrive as a quiet awareness that something no longer fits. A belief. A role. A relationship. A dream. A definition of success. A story we’ve been telling ourselves for years.

We may not know exactly what comes next, but we know the old narrative has reached the end of the road.

Over the past several weeks, I’ve written extensively about Uranus squaring the Nodes of the Moon and the sense that many of us are standing at a crossroads. Not necessarily because something external is forcing change, but because we’re beginning to recognize that some of the assumptions, expectations, and identities we’ve carried for years may no longer reflect who we are becoming.

As I began studying our upcoming Super New Moon in Gemini, I expected to find the familiar themes associated with Gemini: communication, learning, curiosity, and the exchange of ideas. Those themes are certainly present, but the deeper I looked, the more I realized this lunation is telling a much larger story.

This New Moon occurs at 24°03’ Gemini and is the first New Moon since Uranus entered Gemini. While the lunation itself is not tightly conjunct Uranus, it unfolds within a newly established Uranian landscape, making it feel less like a routine monthly reset and more like the opening chapter of a much larger collective story.
Yet what captures my attention even more is that Uranus has not simply entered Gemini. He’s simultaneously forming a tight square to the Nodes, one of the most significant collective alignments currently active in our skies.

The Nodes speak to collective evolution. They describe the movement between where we’ve been and where we’re going. Uranus, often called the Great Awakener, has a way of disrupting familiar pathways and revealing possibilities we may not have previously considered. When these forces meet through a square, tension is created. The old story no longer fits comfortably, yet the new story has not fully emerged.

Many people are feeling this now.
We see it in the questions being asked about work, relationships, health, community, spirituality, and identity. We see it in the growing awareness that some of the systems and structures we once trusted may no longer be adequate for the world we are entering. Most importantly, we see it within ourselves as we begin questioning beliefs and expectations that once felt unquestionable.

This New Moon is arriving at a moment when the collective conversation itself is beginning to change.

'The End of an Old Story'

One of the symbols associated with the placement of this New Moon is the Ten of Swords, the Tarot card linked to the final decan of Gemini. At first glance, it’s not exactly an uplifting image. Most traditional depictions show a figure lying on the ground with ten swords in their back beneath a darkened sky. It’s often interpreted as loss, defeat, betrayal, or painful endings.

Yet I have always felt that this card is frequently misunderstood. The true power of the Ten of Swords isn’t found in the swords themselves. It’s found in the sunrise appearing on the horizon behind them.

The card doesn’t depict a struggle in progress. The struggle is over. The thinking, the analyzing, and the endless mental loops that have consumed our attention have finally reached their natural conclusion.

In many ways, this feels like the perfect symbol for the New Moon unfolding before us now. Gemini is a sign associated with information, communication, learning, and the mind itself. At its highest expression, Gemini helps us remain curious and adaptable. At its most exhausted expression, Gemini can become trapped in cycles of overthinking, replaying the same conversations, revisiting the same questions, and searching for answers that have already revealed themselves.

In my astrology practice, it seems like this is what many people are experiencing now. Not a lack of information, but an awareness that they’ve gathered enough information. They’re not confused as much as they are exhausted. The realization that no amount of additional analysis can breathe life back into a story that has already run its course.

This same theme appears in the Sabian Symbol associated with this lunation: a gardener trimming large palm trees. Once again, the image is not one of destruction, but of maintenance and preparation. The gardener isn’t cutting down the tree. The gardener is removing what has become overgrown so that future growth can occur.
There’s wisdom in knowing what to nurture, and also wisdom in knowing what to prune.

As I sit with the symbolism of this New Moon, I find myself wondering how many of us are standing in a similar place. How many of us have been carrying beliefs, expectations, roles, identities, or narratives that once served an important purpose but no longer reflect who we are becoming? How many of us continue revisiting old questions because we are afraid of what might emerge if we finally stop asking them?

This is where I believe the deeper invitation of the New Moon begins to reveal itself. Rather than asking us to create something entirely new, it may first be asking us to release what has completed its purpose. Not because it was wrong or it failed, but because we’ve outgrown it.

WELCOME TO GEMINI SEASON!

The Sun moved into Gemini at 8:37 PM on Wed., May 20, 2026. The shift is swift but as intangible as the air we breathe, as we move from stable, rooted & 'stop-to-smell -the-roses' earthy, Ta**us Season into the quick-thinking, fast moving & social connections of lighthearted Gemini Season. Gemini arrives to awaken our curiosity, diplomacy & sense of fun.

Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the quicksilver 'trickster' planet ever in motion either outwardly or inwardly in search of the next newsworthy broadcast to disseminate, or puzzle piece to set into its perfect place. This is a time to get out & about, make summer plans for travel, and socialize to collect some fresh ideas about how best to tweak & refine the lessons the slow walk through Ta**us delivered.

Gemini is the season to make our words align with the needed changes we want to manifest. As my Gemini mother always told me, "Your word is your wand, so wield that power carefully lest you wind up with what you didn't really want to summon into your life!"

Let's be mindful to make our words- whether written, typed, or spoken - a source of joyful insights, loving connections & truth embraced. 🌞♊️🤩👯‍♀️

CRYSTALS & GEMS FOR TA**US SEASON

My favorite is definitely Emerald & you don't need a big gem quality stone to reap its benefits: a small, raw emerald piece works quite well. Emerald restores balance, peace & harmony by opening the heart's receptivity to the unimpeded stream of giving & receiving unconditional love. It deepens patience, soothes overactive emotions, attracts abundance & increases the delight of all the sensate gifts embodied life offers. Emerald shifts the vision to the beauty found all around us. It heals by reminding us how blessed we are. 💚

Another crystal I would add is Pyrite: to manifest goals with confidence & unfailing trust in our abilities. It opens a free flow of financial security which Lady Venus (ruler of Ta**us) requires for the little daily luxuries she so deserves. 💛
