What exactly happens at your first appointment with us?

An Establishment of Care visit is all about getting to know you.

During this appointment, Kisha will take the time to review your medical history, discuss any current health concerns, go over medications, and learn about your health goals. It’s also your opportunity to ask questions and build a relationship with a provider who truly listens.

We believe healthcare works best when it’s personal. That’s why we don’t rush through appointments. We take the time to understand the whole picture so we can provide care that’s tailored to you.

Nearly one year ago, we opened our doors with a simple mission: to provide compassionate, patient-centered healthcare built on trust, connection, and truly listening to our community.

After 30+ years in healthcare and more than a decade as a Family Nurse Practitioner, opening Kisha Cares was about creating a space where patients feel seen, heard, and cared for — never rushed.

Over this past year, we’ve had the honor of caring for so many incredible patients and families throughout the Hudson Valley, and we are beyond grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us. Watching this practice grow and becoming part of this community has meant more than words can say.
