“Reflections a return to unprocessed memories. In talking about reflections, this past week I shared a few after watching a podcast from the Dominican Republic. One of the hosts asked, what’s the point of having fine China, beautiful cups and silver ware, when it’s all stored away. Stored away for visitante? Stored for what? An art gallery? Or to be passed down through the generations?
They go on to share an explanation I’ve always felt but couldn’t put my finger on. Instead of storing these master pieces, how about bringing them out from the wooden cabinet. Introducing these pieces of art not only to guests that visit every so often but to the world. Just as guests are treated so do we have to do the same for the self. We can make our meals as presentable to the self as it’s done for others. I couldn’t agree more with this opinion. Using that fine china is living in the moment - not in the later- resourceful as well as helping to get closer to self appreciation. Closer to understanding our value as human beings, individual and family. There’s no other time like the NOW. My wisdom is to enjoy all of it (you fill in the blank) to the fullest.”
