Vicky Pattison is a TV personality in the UK who lost her grandad David to dementia. Since then she's walked 26 miles at Stonehenge, led a Memory Walk in her hometown, and has kept showing up for the Alzheimer's Society year after year.

This video is part of their Forget Me Not Appeal. The blue flower she's holding at the end is the forget-me-not, the symbol of Alzheimer's Society and the work they're doing to support families living with dementia and fund research to beat it.

We shared this because these stories exist everywhere. In every country. In every family.

mason branstrator broke his back at 17 on a ski jump. three years later he's completed a marathon, a triathlon, and built a significant platform on socials by showing the world what adaptive living actually looks like.

and through all of it, his family never left his side.

when the elevator broke in a berlin subway station, his dad didn't look for another option. he said "i got you" and carried mason up three flights of stairs. his mom brought the wheelchair up behind them.

that’s caregiving.

In 1994, Masahiro Hara invented the QR code in a Toyota factory to track car parts.

His company patented it and wanted to charge royalties. He said no. He gave it away for free because he believed it couldn't change the world if it was locked behind a price tag.
