⛳️ Foursome Round-Up! ⛳️

It’s hard to believe it’s already been two weeks since we hit the course for the 2026 Community Resources Staten Island Golf Outing!

We are incredibly grateful for the golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters who helped make this year’s outing such a tremendous success. Your generosity and commitment help us continue creating meaningful opportunities and services for those we support!

The memories, laughter, and camaraderie from the day are still going strong, and we’re already counting down the days until we tee it up again next year! 💙🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

What an incredible day at our CRSI Open Mic Event! 🎤✨

Yesterday, the room was filled with music, laughter, talent, and nonstop smiles as our superstars took the stage and truly shined. A special thank you to Hendrick Helmer, Fawn Segerson, Jimmy Mack, and Joseph Picininni for the amazing collaboration alongside our incredible internal talent — Michael Tirado, Vincent Maietta, and Michael DeGrottole — and of course all of the amazing singers who rocked the house for an unforgettable afternoon of live music and fun.

A special thank you to Pauline Turay for working closely with participants and helping support them throughout the event and everyday. 💙

From singing favorite songs to cheering each other on, the day was all about community, confidence, connection, and celebrating the joy that music brings.

We are also excited to share that on June 18th, we will be partnering with CP Unlimited for Together We Shine 3 at Flagship Brewery! Several of our very own performers will be taking the stage once again for this special event, and we cannot wait to cheer them on. ✨

Investments made last year are already making a difference, but without consistent funding, that progress is at risk. As New York lawmakers continue to debate the final budget, we urge our leadership to include a full 4% TII to stabilize the I/DD service system.

What started as a simple planting day has grown into something truly magical. 🌱✨

Our CRSI Annual Planting Day continues to flourish each year, bringing together community, connection, laughter, and purpose in the most meaningful way. It’s incredible to see how far it has come and the impact it continues to make.

Yesterday, we were proud to honor Commissioner Willow Baer with the very first “Heroes’ Garden” Award presented by our Self-Advocacy Council and the incredible staff of Community Resources Staten Island. 🌱💚 This recognition celebrates compassion, dedication, and unwavering support for our community each and every day.

Seeing someone so deeply humbled by this honor reminds us what community is all about — uplifting one another and recognizing the everyday heroes among us. 💫
