Dry skin? Learn how to really get rid of if!!
Most people suffering from dry skin usually tries to solve it by trying out tons of different moisturisers, or drown their face in oils. And it does kind of work (temporarily) by giving the feeling of a hydrated skin. However, it doesn’t actually fix your dry skin. Your goal should be to have a moisturised skin even without any products on it. And when you accomplish that, you’ll see the ‘hydrated skin’-benefits like: more plumped skin, less fine lines/wrinkles, and overall a more glowy and beautiful skin. To get here, you need to follow three important steps:
1. Drink LOTS of water everyday, and eat healthy.
2. Use a clinical and clean daily cleanser, and sometimes an exfoliator, containing acids suitable for your skin. Often when people suffer from dry skin, it’s because they don’t cleanse and exfoliate their skin in the correct way - leading to «stuff» (sebum, dirt and similar) sitting on your skin and being in the way for your skin to be able to absorb products you apply.
3. Using a clean hydrating serum. Serums penetrates deeper into your skin, so they’re very important to use. It’s mainly two hydrating ingredients that has a lot of studies supporting its effectiveness. One of them are hyaluronic acid, however what most people don’t know is that hyaluronic acid should in general not be used by people living in cold/dry climate. But there are options… :)
