4,748 days sober.
That still feels wild to say.

God saved my life. Prayer saved my life.
Not overnight. Not magically. But steadily.

Since getting sober, I reversed prediabetes, strengthened my body, protected my brain, and rebuilt my mental health. I learned how to sit with myself instead of running from pain. I learned how to listen. I learned how to heal.

Sobriety did not take anything from me.
It gave me everything back.

If you are early, struggling, or just curious, know this. Healing is possible. Change is possible. Your life is not over. It might just be starting.

🎉 Today is my birthday, and I give all glory to God. 🎉

I am grateful for the gift of life, for my sobriety, for the peace of mind that comes with recovery, and for the love of my family, my mom, and my girl. On this sacred Feast Day of the Archangels, I dedicate my heart to God and to the Archangels who guide and protect us.

As I move toward 13 years of sobriety this December, today is a moment of deep reflection. Every step has been a blessing, every challenge a lesson, and every day another chance to live with gratitude and purpose. I thank the Sober is Dope community and everyone who has supported me through the highs and lows. To anyone struggling with addiction, know that I love you, I see you, and you are never alone.
