If you want meals that actually work FOR you (not against you), this is your blueprint:

Balanced, not perfect 👇

- Fill half your plate with veggies → fiber, volume, nutrients = staying power
- Make a quarter of plate protein → keeps you full + supports steady energy
- Include a quarter of your plate as complex carbs → think grains, potatoes, beans = long-lasting fuel
- Sprinkle in healthy fats → olive oil, avocado, nuts = flavor + satisfaction

And the part people skip:
✨ Satisfaction factor - if your meal doesn’t taste good or feel enjoyable, your brain will keep looking for “more” later

This is how you:
✨stay full longer
✨avoid the snack spiral
✨keep energy steady without overthinking it

Save this for your next meal and follow for more non-diet nutrition tips💜

Why “perfect eating” ISN’T the goal⬇️

Let’s set the record straight: the idea of perfect eating often leads to stress, guilt, and unrealistic expectations.

I get it…we’re told that we have to follow these rules and eat in this “perfect” way to reach our goals. I’ve been there and have felt the same way.

But here’s why it’s time to let go of the ‘perfect diet’ myth:⁣

1️⃣ Perfection is unattainable and unsustainable – it’s a recipe for frustration.⁣

2️⃣ Trying to eat perfectly means no flexibility. This can lead to stressing over food, skipping social events, and not enjoying food. Food is meant to be enjoyed, not stressed over.

3️⃣ If you're eating perfectly and make a mistake, you might say, "I already messed up, so I'll just start over tomorrow, next week, or next month". Imagine never having to start over again…

4️⃣ When trying to eat perfectly, you eat what you think you're supposed to eat and when you think you're supposed to eat instead of listening to your hunger/fullness cues.

Try shifting your focus to mindful, balanced choices and the freedom to enjoy food without perfection. See the difference in how you feel when you can listen to your body.

The flexibility you’ll have with food will translate into so much more flexibility in your life 💭

Leave a comment saying “HQ” or send me a DM if you want the Hunger Quotient Scale that I share with my clients to help reconnect to your hunger/fullness cues!

Not feeling your best after the weekend?⬇️

Here are FIVE habits to work on TODAY in order to feel your healthiest as you jump into the new week:

1) Stay hydrated! Set reminders on your phone to drink water so you don’t forget.

2) Add fruits and veggies to your meals and snacks! Let’s think about what we can ADD not what we have to take away.

3) Include protein, fats, AND carbs at meal times! Balanced meals are going to be so helpful to prevent cravings and overeating later on.

4) Have an afternoon snack between lunch and dinner! Not only do you probably need energy between your meals but this is also going to help stabilize your blood sugar levels and prevent you from getting to dinner starving and overeating.

5) Move your body in a way that you enjoy! Exercise is not a punishment for what we ate. Think of it as a way to celebrate what you body can do - I promise that you will enjoy it so much more!

The common theme here: ADDITION, not restriction❌

If this was helpful, be sure to save for later and share with a friend who needs to hear this💜

Which habit will you start implementing today? Let me know in the comments⬇️

You CAN have the ice cream and not stress over it, save up for it or make up for it later🙌

Years ago, ice cream was one of those foods for me that was always off limits, but at the same time, it’s always been one of my favorite foods.

I had labeled ice cream as “bad” and only keep the low calorie, fake ice cream in my apartment, because I didn’t trust myself around the real thing. And when I did have it at home, it wouldn’t last very long…

Since healing my relationship with food, I realized that I could have the ice cream whenever I wanted it because⬇️
✨there are no “good” or “bad” foods
✨food doesn’t have to be all or nothing
✨and all foods fit in a healthy diet

It’s about listening to your body, unlearning what diet culture has taught us and getting out of the all or nothing mindset!

You don’t have to be in this vicious cycle forever🔄

Food is meant to be enjoyed, not stressed over! (Swipe ➡️ to see how much I enjoyed this ice cream😂)

If you’re ready to finally be able to have your favorite foods without letting it through you off track, stressing over it or feeling like you have to start over the next day, leave a 💜 below⬇️

Let me know your favorite ice cream in the comments - mine is mint chip🍨

Feel like food is all or nothing?!👀

These are the 3 biggest mindset shifts that I made in order to get out of the all or nothing mentality⬇️

1) Food has no moral value❌
2) Food rules are NOT the answer❌
3) New habits aren’t created overnight ❌

Which mindset shift can you start making today in order to get out of the all or nothing thinking around food? Let me know in the comments👇

And don’t forget to apply to the Non-Diet Collective to get support, accountability and be part of an amazing community to help you on this journey. You don’t have to do it alone🫶
