This year marked the 17th edition of our Annual BCRF Pink Promises event. 🩷
What started with Stephanie Ginsberg wanting to make a difference after her sister was diagnosed with triple negative metastatic breast cancer has grown into 17 years of Pink Promises and a community committed to supporting breast cancer research. Together, Pink Promises has raised $9.5 million, funding over 36 research grants dedicated to life-saving studies.
The afternoon brought together friends and supporters for raffles, a lovely luncheon, and an inspiring conversation on the future of breast cancer research. We were honored to hear from Stephanie, founder of Pink Promises, alongside Sadia Zapp, Managing Director of BCRF and a breast cancer survivor, and renowned experts Susan M. Domchek, MD, and Robert H. Vonderheide, MD, DPhil, who discussed advances in preventive vaccines and early detection.
A meaningful afternoon filled with community, conversation, and, of course, plenty of pink. 🎀
