Your summer trip might actually qualify as a business expense. 👀✈️

The key is that business has to be the primary purpose of the trip.

If you are attending a conference, meeting a client, or participating in a professional event, parts of your trip may be deductible.

Here’s what to track.
📍 Where your business activities took place.
📅 Your travel dates and itinerary.
📄 Who you met with and why.
🧾 All receipts for travel, lodging, meals, and other expenses.

Here’s what may be deductible.
✈️ Transportation.
🏨 Lodging.
🍽️ Meals.
🎟️ Event or conference fees.
Dry cleaning

Here’s what isn’t deductible.
❌ Personal side trips.
❌ Expenses for non-business companions.
❌ Anything purely personal.

The key is documentation and separation, keep everything organized and clear. If something is both ordinary and necessary, you can probably deduct it.
