People often think chronic pelvic pain only affects someone physically.
But what many don’t see is the mental exhaustion that comes with constantly thinking about pain before making even the smallest decisions.
Can I sit through dinner?
Will this flare tomorrow?
What if I have to cancel again?
What if no one understands?
Over time, living in survival mode can affect relationships, work, confidence, sleep, and mental health in ways that are difficult to explain to people who have never experienced it.
If you’ve felt emotionally drained from carrying pelvic pain for so long, you are not weak, dramatic, or “too sensitive.” Chronic pain changes the way the body and nervous system respond to stress, uncertainty, and daily life.
You deserve support for all of it, not just the physical symptoms.
