What if improving your gut health and blood sugar didn’t require adding another supplement, restrictive diet, or complicated routine?

Rachel, our Registered Dietitian, shares one of her favorite nutrition hacks: cook your carbohydrates, then cool them.

That simple step creates resistant starch, a type of prebiotic fiber that feeds beneficial gut bacteria and lowers the glycemic impact of the food, helping support both gut and metabolic health.

Small change. Meaningful impact.

This is the difference between searching for health advice online and having a team dedicated to your health.

At The Lanby, our Registered Dietitians don’t just hand you a list of recommendations. They help you understand what’s happening in your body, identify the changes that will make the biggest difference, and build a plan that actually fits your lifestyle.

Because better health isn’t about doing everything. It’s about doing the right things, consistently.

One team. One plan. Built around you.

Rachel, our Registered Dietitian, is breaking down PCOS’s new name change to PMOS and why our care team is genuinely excited about it.

This is more than a rebrand. It’s a reflection of a deeper, more accurate understanding of the condition. PMOS now captures the full picture: acne, insulin resistance, weight changes, and type 2 diabetes risk—not just ovarian cysts or irregular cycles.

Why does that matter? Because a better name means earlier diagnosis. Earlier diagnosis means earlier intervention. And earlier intervention means more comprehensive, long-term support for your metabolic health and fertility.

At The Lanby, we know that 1 in 8 women who come to us are navigating PMOS and we know that no two experiences look the same. Our care is never one-size-fits-all. It’s built around you, your symptoms, and your goals.

If any of this resonates, we’re here. Head to the link in bio to learn more about The Lanby membership and schedule your complementary consultation call.

Last night, our Women in Medicine series continued with some of the most respected names in healthcare.

An evening of cocktails, candid conversation, and brilliant minds across specialties, united by a shared purpose: to build community, exchange hard-earned wisdom, and rise together.

This series is a living reflection of how we practice at The Lanby — care that’s connected, collaborative, and built on trusted relationships. Because the best outcomes happen when people and perspectives come together.

We’re proud to keep creating this space in partnership with Commodore Nursing.

More evenings like this on the way.

Dr. Gjoni shares how this training has transformed her approach to care—from reactionary treatment to proactive, preventive medicine that addresses the root cause, not just the symptoms.

Small daily habits add up to big results over time.

➕ Prioritize home-cooked meals—simple, nourishing, and consistent is better than perfect.
➕ Break up sedentary time by staying active throughout the day: take the stairs, get off the subway a stop early, or fit in a quick walk at lunch.
➕ Reduce screen time before bed to support deeper, more restorative sleep. Aim for 7–9 hours per night.

It’s not about doing everything, it’s about doing a few small things well, every day.
