A day in the life of an endocrinologist: May edition ✈️

Morning run with some very cute company, work, packing chaos, airport delays, severe storms, one meal that was apparently too good to photograph before eating 😅, and finally making it to bed after a very long day... excited to share more about this trip soon 👀

P.S. on the PMOS/PCOS article on pic 7 — link in bio to my substack newsletter if you want to learn more about this!

“Hormonal imbalance” — a term you’ve probably heard but the truth?
It’s very misleading.

Hormones are meant to fluctuate.
The bigger question is whether your hormonal feedback loops are functioning the way they should.

We discuss the science (and the misinformation) on The Savvy Patient Podcast🎧

*In very on-brand hormone-news timing, this was filmed before last week’s official PMOS announcement.*

But the message still applies…We still do not fully understand the root cause of this condition, even with a name change, as of now.

Whether you call it PCOS or PMOS, the goal remains the same: if something feels off in your body, it’s worth paying attention to.

Symptoms deserve attention, even when medicine doesn’t yet have every answer.

We discuss this and so much more on a new podcast with myself and my friend Erin Stein. Learn more about hormones and your body, especially when there is so much misinformation online. Listen to The Savvy Patient podcast — link in bio 📌
