Mini study lets Bible dive!!

Blessed Good Friday.

Today many of us observe and reflect on what Jesus Christ's last 7 "word", but they were not words. These were statements.

I personally believe that with each statement there was a declaration. Shall I share? Let's go!

Jesus said: in Mathew 27: 46.

1. Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.

Ex: every word that Jesus said. Was not just for the time he was in but rather for the times to come. When Jesus spoke, his words transcend generations. He knew what he was dying for and his forgiveness transcend generations. Fact that 🤯 is that this proves he saw me and you before your were formed. (Dig deeper there is more)

2. Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Ex: one of Jesus final mercy reach while on earth answering of someone question in view of true repentance. He still reach out thought he was suffering. Even before your last breath, mercy can. Reach you!

3. Woman, behold, thy son! Behold, thy mother!

Ex: Christ love will never leave you or forsake you. JOSHUA 1:9. Let go of your earthly attachment. For where God is taking you. Very few can go.

4. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

EX: Christ showing he needs help, his human nature cold not bare it. Whe he declares this. He stated even the son of God felt alone. Truly he felt the weight of the sin of the world. Here Christ is operating purely by faith. Pushing his human nature to not focus on the circumstances but on God. Even in his darkest, he encourages himself even though a question. Just the acknowledgment of his father. This is powerful 👏 🙌

5. I thirst.

Ex: have you ever felt like you were running on empty? This is an example of how it feels. You can thirst for love, company... you fill innthe blank. He stated it. Still trying to see the compassion of others... and for his sacrifice of love, a bitter drink was given. How many 😳 opportunity God has given you? Wait for it!! He is not done yet.

6. It is finished.

Ex: nothing else can be explained with this stamens. If you felt defeated, "it is finished" if you are sick, "it is finished"
You feel any time a way, "it is finished" you feel unloved, unwanted.... "it is finished"

7. Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.

Ex this is the most powerful 🙌 of them all...

Notice how in # 3, he let go, #4 he felt alone 😔. But he freely let go unto God's will.
The 9th hour was excruciating and painful for Christ. Because he was still trying to hand on to you. Because he loves you. Yet he knew what he signed up to do was not an act you can accompany him in. Yet he literally hang on for you, for you to see his love.

And this is the conclusion.

Do you know how far is mercy, love, protection covering and purpose for you is?

Is a full circle it as far the east is from the west. Arm stretch out wide.
Do you know where the west ends? Where the east begins.

Jesus thank you!!
For your declaration 📜 thank you because you saw 👀 deeper, longer and ahead of everything we will ever need, ask, want and will ever feel.

Still you choose us by dying on the cross ✝️

Thank You Jesus !! You gave up you to love us!!
