Mangu.tv We are Mangu.TV. On the edges of mainstream culture people are proposing alternative ways to deal with drugs, sex, death and politics.

Mangu.tv films are the next generation of mind, body, spirit documentaries, covering not only spirituality, eastern philosophy, yoga and meditation, but also economics, politics, philosophy, sexuality and other aspects of the human existence. We believe there is something broken in the ways we organize our society, deal with drugs, practice sex and intimacy and even approach our own deaths. Some o

f their ideas sound radical today. We believe in a few years the will be part of the general conversation. We produce and distribute films that help bring these spirited ideas to the wider world.

“I Am My Own Laboratory” is an experimental documentary on a remarkable woman who trepanated herself in pursuit of exploring her own consciousness.

Amanda Feilding, Countess of Wemyss and March, is an English scientist, drug policy reformer, artist and penetrative cultural provocateur. In 1998, she founded the Beckley Foundation, a charitable trust that promotes a rational, evidence-based approach to global drug policy policies and initiates, directs and supports pioneering neuroscientific and clinical research into the effects of psychoactive substances on the brain and cognition.

Feilding learned about the ancient practice of trepanation from Bart Huges, whom she met in 1966, and who published a scroll on the topic. She trepanned herself in 1970.

This provocative and enlightening documentay film follows Anwar and fellow actress Catherine Oxenberg as they embark on a personal and taboo-breaking journey to explore the complexities of female s.xuality, with a particular focus on the elusive female or**sm.

In a world where liberation has made significant strides, the documentary highlights a surprising statistic: approximately one-third of women have never experienced an or**sm.

Determined to understand this phenomenon, Anwar and Oxenberg consult a diverse array of experts, including sēxologists, ta***ic practitioners, and everyday women, to delve into the physical, emotional, and psychological facets of female pleasure.

We are delighted to host Benjamin Phelan on this episode of the Mangu.tv podcast series 🎙️

Benjamin Phelan is state-licensed in psychedelic-assisted therapy and has been in practicing for twelve years.

He served as a writer for the documentary “Neurons to Nirvana: Understanding Psychedelic Medicines” (available on our platform) and is one of the resident therapists at our Ibiza center - Difuso 🧡

Benjamin speaks about his upbringing in Boulder, Colorado, at a time of the Beat poets, Nixon administration and the growing use of psychedelics for cultural change. He shares his first experience with psychedelics and speaks about how it opened up the language of non-human things. He talks about his rediscovery of psychedelics later in life, and how it led him to leave the corporate world and devote his life fully to the exploration of consciousness.

Giancarlo and Ben discuss the ego and the soul. They talk about the value of therapy and guidance with psychedelics. Ben shares the importance of a daily practice to give a ‘leg up’ to the richness of the interior world. He speaks about scientists’ ability to measure enhanced brain states, found during meditation, prayer and altered states.
