All proceeds will go towards providing transportation, affordable temporary lodging, support services, and other resources that will assist our patients in their treatment! Hey All! Say hi to one of our Summer 2018 Interns: Emma Thomas. Here is what she has to say about why she is fighting for cancer patients this summer.
"My interest in healthcare, love for psychology and the social sciences, and passion for helping those in need have driven me to pursue an internship with TaketheFight. I always knew I wanted to go into a “helping field”, and simultaneously have always loved working with people directly. I am passionate about directly supporting patients and others going through tough times, and TaketheFight does exactly that! I’m excited to help establish the Richmond Chapter and expand its mission of supporting cancer patients through compassionate, quality care."
