After months of pressure from healthcare workers, patients, and advocates, Governor Hochul and legislative leaders have reached an agreement on major healthcare investments in the state budget.

That happened because thousands of us stood together and demanded action. Our advocacy helped secure $2 billion in healthcare investments to support Medicaid, hospitals, healthcare workers, nursing homes, and communities across New York.

The fight to protect affordable healthcare in New York is far from over, but this win is a reminder that collective action can make a real difference.
