This bed held more than sleep—it held wonder. I used to trace every curve and swirl, getting lost in the details my mom chose so carefully, her sense of beauty shaping how I first saw the world. Repainting it now feels like reopening that space—where imagination, comfort, and love all lived together. The memory isn’t just visual… it’s something I still carry, something that continues to guide what I make. It's still with me on my journey.

This shadow box is where the journey often begins—a gathering of possibilities. Small objects, fragments, and found pieces, each carrying their own quiet story.

I don’t always know what they will become, but along this journey I’ve learned to trust that something will call to me. This is my starting point for assemblage… a place of choices, intuition, and discovery.
