1)Choose a formula that protects against both UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays.

2) Many tattoo enthusiasts prefer zinc oxide or titanium dioxide (mineral) sunscreens. These sit on top of the skin and reflect UV rays like a mirror, which can be less irritating for sensitive tattooed areas.

3) Sunscreen wears off. Reapply every two hours, or more frequently if you are swimming or sweating.

P.S. I import my sun screen from Japan! Ask me why!
