We may not have been at , however, WE were UP there last year, in spirit, in purpose, and in presence.
Having joined virtually this year at the just concluded event, here is what you need to know about new breakthroughs in cancer research.
π For pancreatic cancer, a new drug, daraxonrasib, nearly doubled survival! Wow! π²
π For breast cancer, a genomic test (Prosigna) can help spare a majority of high-risk patients from chemo. This is so welcomed as I still manage chemo-induced side effects years after treatment. π
π Regarding lung cancer, an antibody (ivonescimab) outperformed standard immunotherapy.
π GLP-1 drugs may help prevent an early-stage cancer from advancing to late stage.
Looking at the big picture, it is obvious that AI, multicancer early detection tests, and digital health tools are moving oncology toward more personalized care.
This is why we do this work. Science is moving fast and patients deserve to understand what is coming and what is possible. It is exactly why Cancer Convos with Grace B. exists, to demystify all of this for our community because you deserve to know and allowed to ask questions. There is hope. The future is bright.
π£" Cancer doesnβt wait. Neither should we.
