First Morning on Rajah Island

Woke up to birds, stillness, and that soft tropical air. For the early birds, yoga started at 6:30 AM—and yes, some of us actually made it! Moving and breathing as the sun rose felt like the perfect way to land more deeply into the island’s rhythm.

The day officially began with a warm cup of Dahasamani herbal water—an Ayurvedic blend of vetiver, sappan wood, and sarsaparilla. Earthy, grounding, and just what the body craved after traveling.

Breakfast was simple and nourishing—Kerala-style dosa with sambar and coconut chutney, lovingly served. For those in the mood for something sweet, papaya, pineapple, and grapes were available, too.

We wrapped it all up with a cozy ginger tea to spark digestion and ease us into the day.

Already feeling softer, slower, and held.

We’ve Arrived at Rajah Island!

After a long journey, we landed late last night in Kerala and were welcomed with the warmest hearts at Cochin Airport. Our lovely driver and guide greeted us with fresh water, sweet local bananas, and juicy fruits—exactly what we needed after the flight.

As we drove toward Rajah Island, sleepiness started to melt into a sense of calm. The moment we stepped onto the island, everything shifted—the peace, the air, the stillness. Check-in was smooth and easy thanks to the incredible staff, and a warm, nourishing dinner waited for us.

We finally settled into our rooms and let the island hold us.

Huge thanks to the amazing Rajah Island Ayurveda team—we truly can’t thank you enough. Your kindness already feels like medicine.
