The Sean Parker Institute for the Voice, part of the Weill Cornell Medicine Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, provides the highest quality of care for patients with voice disorders, whether they are performers, public speakers or other intensive voice users, or people with more routine vocal demands. Voice is essential in our personal and professional lives, but most people take it for granted. Anyone with a voice problem knows how limiting it can be; often, it is no exaggeration to call it disabling. Although voice disorders affect more than 20 million people in the United States, finding specialized care can be a challenge. The Sean Parker Institute offers expert diagnosis and sophisticated, effective treatment appropriate for each patient’s vocal requirements. The institute is also committed to advancing the science of clinical care through transformative research focused on root problems in the treatment of laryngeal disease.

The Sean Parker Institute for the Voice in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine is hiring a full-time outpatient speech-language pathologist to treat swallowing disorders. Join our multidisciplinary laryngology and SLP team for the opportunity to collaborate in a multidisciplinary dysphagia clinic setting. This role will involve performing and interpreting FEES, MBS, and videostroboscopy, as well as providing swallowing rehabilitation. Experience with complex dysphagia cases, head and neck cancer, chronic cough/laryngeal hypersensitivity, and voice/upper airway disorders is preferred. This role is also responsible for participation in ongoing continuing education, participation in departmental and organizational programs, and supervision of graduate students. Research opportunities within the department may be available.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in SLP, CCC-SLP, and New York licensure. No clinical fellows will be considered at this time.

Dr. Danielle Morrison, our current two-year Sean Parker Laryngology fellow, won the prestigious Broyles-Maloney Award from the American Broncho-Esophagological Association for her work with entitled “First Reported Implementation of Age-Stratified Synthetic Laryngoscopy Image Generation Using StyleGAN3.” Major congrats on this exciting accomplishment!
