Hi Everyone!
Since you have been asking for it, here it is!!!!!
The Youth Babysitting class will soon have a VIRTUAL class option! Whooo Hooo!
Soon you will be able to choose which style of class setting works best for your student. (Either enrolling in an in-person class, or enrolling in a virtual class)
This virtual class will run independently from the "in-person" class to ensure that students have my undivided attention, and that they're not just lurking in the background while I'm off teaching the in-person class.
This virtual class will be small (around 8 students max). The CPR/AED portion of the class will be knowledge based instead of skill based. This class will be interactive and will cover the same great information (videos / lecture) as the in-person class. We'll just have the luxury of comfy furniture, and slippers! - if you choose :)
I know that you are EXCITED for this GREAT NEWS, and cannot WAIT to try this out!
I wanted to let you all know what is coming down the pipe because I'm excited too!!! (But) This is new territory for me. I have to make sure that I can offer your student a quality class that is fun, educational, and won't have any technical difficulties. The online platform that I am currently experimenting with should be pretty easy for your student to use. It doesn't require any prior downloads. Enrolled students would receive a private class link via email which would bring them right to it, and away they go! Students will need a stable (good) internet connection, a we**am, and microphone.
There is a cost for this class, it will be inline with the in-person class. I'm still tinkering with the class length, but I feel it will be very similar to the in-person class.
If this is something that you would be interested in when the time comes (I'm hoping to get this buttoned up in the next week or so), and you would like more information, the class schedule, etc... please drop me a private message and I will make a list of interested families.
Thank you all for your continued support.
Stay safe,
Tanya
