Hey 👋 Community. This food drive and distribution was last week but feels like an eternity ago! Thank you to the whole neighborhood who safely dropped off goods and also volunteered to make it happen. We were able to put together 50 bags of food for PS 11 families in need.
The day after we collected, schools closed. The good news: over 400 locations in NYC are offering children 3 free meals daily, from 7:30am-1:30pm. Website and info below. Wishing you well little one’s, and praying daily for your amazing parents.

Hi Friends 💕 it’s been a while since I’ve been on social media - I’m hugging you all through this phone, and you have all been in my metta prayers every morning, as I’m hoping you feel held during this difficult time. Just a reminder that you are not alone, we love you, and we’re all in this together. If you live in the Brooklyn neighborhood, I’m organizing a DRY FOOD + SUPPLIES DRIVE today (Sun, 3/15) at Hollenback Community Garden (details below). I will be working with schools to distribute this to families in need. I’m just anticipating school closures, and am thinking about the hardships that come with that for families that are living in homeless shelters, or are struggling. Thank you to all of my incredible neighbors for helping out to organize this, and to , our NYC Council Member for your support and advice. If you want to help out in your neighborhood, feel free to reach out to me and I can help direct you. A good way is to join NextDoor.com (like a local craigslist), and post that you are available to help. You can also reach out to your block association or your local council member to find out what initiatives are happening in your neighborhood. Check out too, you can sign up to be a volunteer as they are organizing help for those in need in our local neighborhoods.
If you feel comfortable being out, come swing by and drop off what you can. I’ll set up two tables to create physical distance and will be wearing rubber gloves.

I can't believe this, but tomorrow (Thurs, 10/17) is the LAST Stoop Meditation gathering of the 3rd Stoop Season in Brooklyn! I’m an emotional one as I’m typing this. We have spent the last 5 months meeting out on that stoop, bright and early at 7:30am, and going inward, together. Talking about it all - from letting go of what no longer serves us, to courageously letting in and respecting our pain, our sadness, to singing our hearts song back to ourselves when we have forgotten, and back to one another…. to supporting each other on our journeys, and reminding ourselves that we are all part of this web of life and we need each and everyone of our souls to bring it to life. COME tomorrow! It’s free, it’s for all of us.
Come for the coffee ☕️ (donated by ), come for the meditation 🙏, come for the community, come for the fresh air...whatever is calling to you - come for that. Trust that. This might be the last one on this actual stoop, and I'd be honored to see you tomorrow. Let's do this, my loves, my neighbors. See you in the morning!!! 7:30am, 453 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn. Goodnight, world PS: 🌧 The rain will stop, this I know. Xoxox

I absolutely love this place 📚Tomorrow is the last Fall Stoop Meditation at Central Branch at Grand Army Plaza, 8:20-8:50am. No rsvp needed! It’s been amazing getting to know the staff, the security guards, and witnessing the close knit community that is always alive at every hour at the library. I hope you can all make it tomorrow! And if you can’t, pop over to the library soon, and check out their amazing free programming or grab a coffee at their cafe and relax on the plaza. And if you’re ever feeling alone or down, again, stroll over to the library. There’s some kind of magic community feel there - so much life happening - it’s amazing 🙏

My dear neighbors! 🌧 I’m hoping the rain holds out for us tomorrow morning so that we can meditate outside together and talk about surrendering. You’re all invited, free and no need to rsvp. Just stroll on over, address in bio, 7:30am-8am. For tonight though, an excerpt on surrendering from one of my favorite books, Boundless Love by Miranda Holden. Her words guide me daily and I hope they reach the ones who need them tonight:
“Arriving at the end of yourself and what you know is far from a disaster, it’s where you meet freedom. It is where you meet a deeper truth, a new and better way of being. It is also where you meet God. Divine hands await at the edge of your cliffs.”
PS: When you read the word God, insert what that means for you, your belief system ✨
Goodnight Brooklyn, I hope to see you in the morning! 🌒

Holy moly, I was at the climate strike last Friday in NYC, and was BLOWN away by all the kids and youth - leading the way 💕 We were marching and following their footsteps, their words, and their dedication.
