✨ She’s live ✨
The first episode of my podcast, “It’s Not Me, It’s My Hormones,” is finally here. 🎙️🌿 I’ve poured so much heart and honesty into this project, and I’m a little shy sharing it, but I’m also so excited to connect with you in a new way.
This space is for every woman navigating PCOS, searching for answers, and exploring holistic ways to heal.

🌸 In episode one, “Can PCOS Go Away?”, I share my personal journey, natural approaches, and the mindset shifts that have been so important in my own healing process.

Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but it is possible. 🌿 I hope this episode inspires and encourages you wherever you are on your journey.

It’s live now (link in bio). Let me know what you think. 🤍

🌸 Your body is always talking to you—are you listening?
PCOS symptoms don’t just show up out of nowhere—they’re messengers, trying to tell you what’s happening inside. Facial hair growth? That’s testosterone speaking. Trouble sleeping? Insulin imbalances might be the culprit. Anxiety that never seems to ease? Your cortisol is crying out for attention.

For years, I felt like my body was working against me. I tried diets, medications, and quick fixes that promised results but left me feeling worse. Then I realized something: my symptoms weren’t the enemy—they were a guide. Instead of fighting my body, I started listening. 🌿

Healing PCOS isn’t about suppressing symptoms; it’s about finding balance.
✨ Your body needs nourishment, not restriction. Skipping meals or following fad diets only makes things harder. Instead, I focus on meals that fuel me—rich in protein, fiber, and healthy fats.
✨ Stress is the silent hormone disruptor. Learning to lower cortisol through mindfulness, Reiki, and gentle movement has been life-changing.
✨ Consistency over perfection. Healing doesn’t happen overnight, and that’s okay. Progress, no matter how small, is still progress.

It’s taken me years to unlearn the idea that my body was broken. The truth? My body is resilient, capable, and worthy of love—so is yours. 🌸 Healing is possible, and it starts with listening to the signals your body sends.

💌 I’m here to support you through this journey. If you’re ready to learn how to balance your hormones naturally and heal from within, follow for more tips and insights! And don’t forget to check out the blog and TikTok for more in-depth advice (links in bio). 🌿✨

🌟 2025 Non-Negotiables for Thriving with PCOS 🌟

This year is all about committing to what truly matters for your PCOS journey. Managing symptoms naturally and feeling your best starts with small, consistent habits that support your body, mind, and soul.

Balancing blood sugar remains at the top of the list. Focusing on nutrient-dense meals and staying mindful of how food affects your body is non-negotiable. It’s not about restriction—it’s about nourishment.

Movement is medicine, but it doesn’t need to be intense. A morning walk or a quick stretch can work wonders for your hormones and mental clarity. Strength training is a bonus for building resilience and improving insulin sensitivity.

Let’s not forget your liver—it’s your hormone powerhouse. Support it with small acts of care, like sipping herbal teas, adding cruciferous veggies to your meals, or starting your day with lemon water.

Stress is the silent disruptor of your hormones, and in 2025, we’re not letting it take over. Whether it’s journaling, meditating, or simply lighting a candle and taking a deep breath, find moments to center yourself every day.

This is also the year to clean up your environment. Endocrine disruptors are everywhere, but small swaps—like switching to glass water bottles or using non-toxic skincare—can make a huge difference.

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. Building a supportive community of people who get it is key. Sharing your journey, seeking advice, and lifting each other up is what keeps us strong.

Most importantly, advocate for yourself. PCOS is different for everyone, so get to know your body, track your symptoms, and don’t hesitate to speak up for the care you deserve.

2025 is the year we thrive, together. What’s your number one non-negotiable for the year ahead? Share it in the comments and let’s inspire each other to stay consistent. 💛

🌱 “And I said to my body, softly, ‘I want to be your friend.’ It took a long breath and replied, ‘I have been waiting my whole life for this.’”

For so many years, I felt like my body was working against me—hormonal imbalances, constant fatigue, the weight of PCOS symptoms, and the emotional toll that came with it. 💭 I tried to fight my body, to punish it, to “fix” it. But healing doesn’t come from war—it comes from love, understanding, and peace.

When I began my natural healing journey, I learned to listen to my body. To stop blaming it and start supporting it—through Reiki, mindfulness, natural remedies, and patience. 🌿
This shift wasn’t easy, but it changed everything. Instead of seeing my body as the enemy, I started treating it as my ally—my friend. It took a deep breath, and together, we started healing. 🤍
I share this journey not because it’s perfect but because I know I’m not alone. If you’ve ever felt trapped in your symptoms, I see you. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone. That’s why I created itsnotmeitsmyhormones.net—to share what’s helped me and guide you in finding peace with your body, too.
Let’s heal together. 🌸

Time to get real with you all: I’ve been silently battling an eating disorder since my teenage years. And honestly, I saw early signs of PCOS in myself long before my diagnosis at 21—constant weight fluctuations, unwanted hair growth on my neck and chin, and those relentless hormonal mood swings.

When you search “PCOS” online, the second thing that pops up is “PCOS diet,” followed by “how to lose PCOS weight.” It’s a struggle many of us with PCOS face, especially those of us with high insulin resistance. Looking back, I think my PCOS diagnosis and the treatment my doctor initially prescribed—before I turned to natural and holistic methods—only fueled my eating disorder.

I know I’m not alone in dealing with this as a woman with PCOS, but there are ways to overcome an eating disorder. Food and herbs can be your allies, not something to fear. Once I stopped being afraid of food and allowed myself to eat clean—steering clear of processed foods—and embraced herbal supplements, my body began to shed weight on its own. Adding 30 minutes of walking a day and doing Pilates three times a week made a huge difference. It’s about finding balance and letting go of the fear.

I hope that medical professionals will discover better solutions to support younger women or those newly diagnosed with PCOS, helping to prevent the onset of eating disorders. It’s crucial to offer guidance and care that addresses both the physical and emotional challenges, so these women can navigate their diagnosis without falling into harmful patterns.

With Love,
Sabrina
