April was a little bit of everything, from celebrating another trip around the sun with some well-deserved treats to getting back into the rhythm of nourishing, everyday meals. 🎂🥂

I had a wonderful time speaking last night at ’s Women’s Wellness Unfiltered with my fellow panelists: .sekhon 💜

So much of the conversation came back to one core idea: wellness is about building a strong, sustainable foundation…not chasing trends!

From navigating buzzy topics like protein intake and GLP-1s, to understanding how your foods actually work together, the goal is always the same: zoom out before zooming in. The big picture matters more than any single “perfect” habit.

Because real wellness isn’t restrictive, it’s supportive.

If you look at on instagram, tiktok, pinterest, etc… you’ll see perfectly portioned meals with protein/grains/veggies. It’s great if it works for you, but the majority of my clients find this SUPER overwhelming! 😵‍💫

And guess what, I do too! Instead of meal prepping MEALS, I like to meal prep components of meals. For example, last weekend I made 3 things, and the whole thing took less than an hour:

➡️Veggie soup which i enjoyed with an avocado/egg toast for lunch and as a snack before a late dinner.
➡️Roasted potatoes as a carb for a baked chicken dinner at the beginning of the week. I also threw in a salad with tuna, avocado and tomatoes for 2 of my lunches.
➡️Roasted cauliflower as a veggie side to that chicken dinner I made + I tossed into multiple salads during the week.

All that and I was able to multitask around the house and chill with my kids. Sometimes it isnt about what LOOKS productive and sustainable on social media, but what works for YOU and your family.

When life gets hectic, having a few go-to meals you can throw together without overthinking makes all the difference when feeding a family.🍲🥗

Lately, for my crew, it’s been:

💜 Tofu and broccoli brown rice bowls
💜 Baked or airfried chicken piccata with a simple arugula salad
💜 Turkey meatballs with pesto with roasted veggies
