Want to help a new mom?

Don’t just ask to hold the baby. 🤍

Hold the baby so she can shower.
Bring her food without asking what she wants you to cook.
Wash the bottles.
Fold the laundry.
Refill her water.
Take out the trash.
Ask what she needs — and mean it.

Because sometimes “help” creates one more thing for a recovering mom to manage.

The best support is the kind that makes her day a little lighter.

And yes, cuddling the baby is lovely.
But caring for the mom matters too.

👇 Moms — what was the ONE thing someone did postpartum that actually made you feel supported?

A C-section isn’t the “easy way out.” 🤍

It’s major abdominal surgery — and somehow, almost immediately after, you’re expected to feed, hold, comfort, and care for a brand-new little human.

You’re learning your baby while learning how to move in a body that’s healing.
You’re getting out of bed when even sitting up can feel like a task.
You’re showing up for your baby while your own body is asking for rest.

That deserves to be acknowledged.

Whether your C-section was planned, unexpected, peaceful, scary, or somewhere in between — your birth was real. Your recovery is real. And you deserve support through it.

To every C-section mama: we see the strength behind the scar. 🫶

We need to stop using “it’s normal after birth” as the end of the conversation.

Yes, soreness can be common.
Bleeding can be common.
Swelling, exhaustion, leaking, discomfort, and emotional overwhelm can all be part of postpartum recovery.

But common doesn’t mean she should just deal with it.

A mom shouldn’t have to prove she’s hurting before she deserves comfort, support, rest, or solutions that make recovery easier.

Instead of saying:
“Every mom goes through it.”

Try:
“What would make you feel more comfortable right now?” 🤍

Because postpartum care shouldn’t begin only when something
